Elementary Spell - First part of Fohandnag’s Spelling Course for children age 4 to 6.
Elementary Spell will help you to understand how other people spell their names or addresses. Children or foreign students of any age will master the recognition of letters phonetically and be able to reproduce, for example, names and addresses in writing or on the computer screen. This ability people use everyday when exchanging their details by phone and is not an easy task to master without this program. home page from where you will be able to choose which skill level you
would like to practise. Before you start you can choose how long the lesson will last. The options are 10 minutes, 5 minutes, 3 minutes or 2 minutes. Once the time has elapsed you will be taken to the score section where you can see how many letters you typed in. In this way you can see the improvement in speed each time you repeat the lesson. Once your speed is satisfactory you can move on to section 2 where you will learn an additional 6 letters. In section 3 you will learn another 8 letters and in section 4 all the remaining letters of the alphabet. If you would like to learn touch typing then you should place your fingers where indicated in the picture and type in the letters according to the instructions. After you have finished Part 01 you should know all the letters of the
alphabet and have a basic knowledge of touch-typing. In section 2 you will learn to use the Enter button on the keyboard. In
section 3 you will learn to type in capital letters and in section 4 you
will learn to type numbers. Part 4 is for students who want to recognise letters phonetically. In this Part letters are not shown but pronounced, and then you have to type in what you hear. It will help you to understand how other people spell their names or addresses. In section 1 you will start with a single letter. In section 2 you will have to type in words with only 3 letters. In section 3 you will attempt words with 4 letters and in section 4 words with 5 letters. When practising this skill we assume you already know the position of the letters on the keyboard and the picture of the keyboard won’t be displayed. We also provide a Vocabulary section where you can familiarise yourself with the words used in this program. So before you begin print the list out and check if you understand everything. Summary:
