Elementary Spell 01

Once you activate the program you will be taken to the home page from where you will be able to choose which skill level you would like to practise.
There are four parts in elementary spell and each part is divided into four sections so that you can master each step easily.
In part 01 you will learn the alphabet. In section 1 the program will display one of the seven letters which needs to be typed in. At the same time a letter will be pronounced so children can connect, visually, the shape of the letter with the sound of it. The child will have to find the letter on the keyboard and press it. If it is pressed correctly the program will show the next letter to be typed in.

Elementary Spell 02

Before you start you can choose how long the lesson will last. The options are 10 minutes, 5 minutes, 3 minutes or 2 minutes. Once the time has elapsed you will be taken to the score section where you can see how many letters you typed in. In this way you can see the improvement in speed each time you repeat the lesson.

Elementary Spell 11

Once your speed is satisfactory you can move on to section 2 where you will learn an additional 6 letters.

Elementary Spell 03

In section 3 you will learn another 8 letters

Elementary Spell 04

and in section 4 all the remaining letters of the alphabet.

Elementary Spell 05

If you would like to learn touch typing then you should place your fingers where indicated in the picture and type in the letters according to the instructions.

Elementary Spell 10

After you have finished Part 01 you should know all the letters of the alphabet and have a basic knowledge of touch-typing.
In Part 02 you will further develop your skills. In section 1 the program will ask you to type all letters of the alphabet randomly.

Elementary Spell 06

In section 2 you will learn to use the Enter button on the keyboard. In section 3 you will learn to type in capital letters and in section 4 you will learn to type numbers.

Part 3 is designed for people who wish to improve the speed of their touch typing. There are four groups of words which, when mastered, will improve your typing speed. They are specially chosen to repeat letters with the most common sequence. So when your typing speed of these words is good then your speed of typing any other words will also be good.

Elementary Spell 07

Part 4 is for students who want to recognise letters phonetically. In this Part letters are not shown but pronounced, and then you have to type in what you hear. It will help you to understand how other people spell their names or addresses. In section 1 you will start with a single letter.

Elementary Spell 08

In section 2 you will have to type in words with only 3 letters. In section 3 you will attempt words with 4 letters and in section 4 words with 5 letters. When practising this skill we assume you already know the position of the letters on the keyboard and the picture of the keyboard won’t be displayed.

Elementary Spell 09

We also provide a Vocabulary section where you can familiarise yourself with the words used in this program. So before you begin print the list out and check if you understand everything.
