Welcome to Spelling School

If you are younger than 8 years old, congratulations on finding us. First of all, sorry that there are no cartoons, music or jokes in our programs, but we at Spelling School try to treat all our students as responsible and inquisitive adults. There are no unnecessary frills just a desire to help you all achieve your goals in terms of spelling and the use of English language.

We focus mainly on your success and we will teach you how to progress using our educational programs. You will proceed through a number of stages until you reach a high level of education. Some of you will become spelling bee champions and some will develop into teachers of English language.

Spelling is an essential skill which reflects a persons basic abilities and intelligence. Once you have completed Fohandnag's course you will never again be embarrassed by an inability to spell correctly. 

Before you start please ask your parents to help you. Our research clearly shows that children who are assisted by their parents learn much more and more quickly than those who are left to their own devices. By following Fohandnag's System from the very beginning we firmly believe that you will have an immediate and lasting advantage over your classmates. In addition we have tried to make the lessons fun so that you learn whilst playing.

What would we like you to achieve before you become 8 years old?

First we would like you to know the alphabet. Secondly we would like you to know how to spell a couple of hundred English words. Thirdly, and this is the most important thing, we would like you to become accustomed to studying every day and enjoying it. We know that if you enjoy your studies you will be successful.

So where to start?

If you don't have Elementary Spell and Beginner Spell software don't worry. You can still use our free online lessons to achieve the same success. Besides you can fill in the form and ask us for special offers, as twice a year we send invitations to our students to buy discounted products from us.

Once you have our tools to learn you should plan your studying. We advise that you find time to study every day. It doesn't need to be a full hour. It can be 20 minutes, but what we recommend is that you learn every day like you brush your teeth (I hope you do).

Remember there is no need to rush to your achievement. If you master the first lesson don't go to the second before your speed in typing is satisfactory. If you spend more time practising the first lessons the success in later lessons will be quicker. So be patient. Yes be patient because Elementary Spell is the most fundamental program which you will have to master sooner or later.

So No 1. Have your Spelling Software installed on your computer or have access to the Internet.

2. Set time aside when you would like to study and make sure that the rest of the household respects your learning.

3. Start practising. Print your Score every week so that you and your parents or your teachers can see the progress that you are making.
